The Opportunity:

OptionsHouse has an exciting opportunity for an Online Marketing Director. We are a national online options and stock retail trading brokerage. Our company is aggressively expanding and looking for talented and experienced professionals to join us and be a part of our growing team.

Position is a key driver in the planning, creation, and execution of online marketing programs leading to customer acquisition, education, and retention. These programs will drive millions of dollars in top line revenue and profitable margin growth. This person will also target customers based on analytical segmentation. This individual will be a leading member of the marketing team with wide ranging responsibilities. This is an ideal position for an experienced and results-oriented individual with a strong web site management and online marketing background.

Candidate responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the development of the online lead conversion architecture to ensure the core marketing components are ready for launch, as well as ongoing optimization.
  • Develop the company’s online and direct marketing strategy, including: customer communications, site promotions, email marketing, online advertising, search engine marketing, database marketing
  • Create online channel media plans geared toward customer acquisition, maturation, and retention as part of a “lifecycle marketing” model
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to align e-commerce activities with overall IT architecture
  • Utilize advanced marketing metrics to develop and optimize customer life time value based on such items as acquisition channels, promotional response, content giveaways, and advertising effectiveness.
  • Managing a variety of touch points to help drive the relationship and conversion process throughout the customer acquisition pipeline
  • Developing and managing a tracking and analysis, including measurement to evaluate programs, tracking competitive websites, reporting results, and adapting future plans based on findings
  • Deliver testing strategies and cost efficiencies across the media mix
  • Measure effectiveness of target market penetration and determine trends and associated recommendations

Desired Candidate Attributes:

  1. 5+ years of director/manager level experience in online marketing and/or e-commerce
  2. Experience in e-commerce design and functionality
  3. Strong project management skills
  4. Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, MBA preferred
  5. Outstanding record of achievement in the web-based environment
